Mr. Joe Webster has had a diverse career spanning over 35 years, with roles in Sales, Technical Service, Patents, Marketing, Product Development, and more. He has worked for companies like Wheaton Plastics, Shell Development, Cytec Industries, and Clariant Corporation. His expertise lies in polymer science, with a focus on intellectual property and research, earning him multiple publications and patents.

In 2002, he received the American Chemical Society’s Innovation Award in Industrial Chemistry for his work in Molecular Modifiers™ and supramolecular Chemistry of condensation polymers. Recently, he has developed new molecular modifiers for various polymers, created advanced materials like ballistic molded projectiles, and contributed to innovations in polymer stabilization and additives for plastics.

He has filed numerous patents in molecular modifiers, fillers, and stabilizers for condensation polymers. A key achievement includes creating sulfur black for enhanced polyolefin stability, especially in automotive applications. More recently, he won an Innocentive Open Innovation Challenge for reducing odors in plastics.
